Freelance Trainee Producer

Elizabeth is a multidisciplinary artist from South London with an endearing interest in people; in the human spirit, its emotional resonance, and the way over time it manifests in our relationship with others.

Upon graduating from the University of Manchester with a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, she was accepted into the Oxford School of Drama where her creativity flourished. During her studies, she was fortunate to be part of the National Youth Theatre, Contact Young Company, Royal Exchange Young Writers, Slate Playwriting Group, Talawa Young Company, and DMC Film Screenwriters lab.

As producer, she worked with Contact Theatre, Season for Change, Artsadmin, and Julie’s Bicycle on Ergon: The Wicked Problem (2021), an immersive theatre show offering audiences the chance to decide the outcome on each night. At present, she is producing an exciting new play currently in R&D with Women’s Prize for Playwrighting Finalist lydia luke.

She’ll also be making her debut as Writer/Director/Producer of the short film, The Golden Boy, executively produced by the Oscar-winning Slick Films.

Often referencing her experiences as a 1st generation immigrant, Elizabeth’s mission is to create bodies of work that is radically Black/African, Queer, and unapologetic in style and form.
