We were thrilled when the Evening Standard chose our Artistic Director Chinonyerem Odimba as one of its “22 amazing London women changing the world in 2022” as part of its celebration of International Women’s Day 2022.

It was fantastic to be in the company of such inspiring women, including Lynette Linton, Artistic Director of the Bush Theatre as well as women working across mental health, maternal health equality, environmental activism, reproductive rights and community empowerment and much more.

 

In the article Chino talks about using the power of storytelling to change the lens through which we see the world. She says “For me, stories still hold a lot of potential in changing how the world sees and responds to women, especially Black women”.
